Pilot Walktour is a state-of-the-art handheld tool for air interface assessment and QoS testing of mobile handset applications. It enables network assessment in close quarters, and gives up next-to-nothing in test capability to a drive-test solution.

Walktour services all major 2G/3G mobile network technologies, including GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSDPA and CDMA1X/EVDO, while its scanning and forcing/barring capabilities enable assessment of any desired band, cell or network. 

With its robust application diagnostic features, Walktour provides complete metrics for voice and data applications, including FTP/HTTP data transfer, HTML/WAP browsing, SMS/MMS messaging, E-mail (POP3/SMTP) and Ping. Walktour displays all relevant network parameters in real-time through its mobile tracing interface.

Walktour is compatible with the Android, iOS, Symbian and Windows Mobile operating systems, along with Windows XP (UMPC) and Linux. It is strictly a firmware application; there is no DingLi hardware involved. 

Walktour enables timely and convenient understanding of the user's indoor network experience through real-time display of vital QoS stats such as Ec/Io, Rx/Tx power and Dropped Call Rate.  

Walktour is an extension of DingLi's industry leading line of RF test solutions, including the Fleet autonomous testing system and our Navigator post-processing software. Data can be sent instantly to a Fleet/Navigator central server for further analysis and reporting, all without interrupting a test in progress. Monitoring and alarms can be carried out in the background, with no effect on normal handset usage.
