Fleet is a robust and versatile autonomous drive test system that comprehensively assesses wireless networking functionality, including Voice/Data Call, MOS evaluation and supplementary services. Fleet is compatible with GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA+, CDMA IS95A/B/IS2000 1X/EVDO and TD-SCDMA networks. It administers test plans and monitors data remotely through TCP/IP-enabled control of its Remote Control Units (RCUs).
Fleet probes can test and transmit around-the-clock, with no on-site input from engineers. Kits are placed in vehicles and driven around a coverage area for data collection. Results are uploaded remotely to the central server for real-time monitoring and fed into an analytics engine for later use; KPIs can be emailed to any desired account. Data from multiple operators is collected on a fixed schedule, using the same automated infrastructure; engineers can monitor this process from the office.
Fleet RCUs can assess more networks per unit than any competitor, while multiple RCUs can be scaled for any capacity desired. Testing is done through dedicated modules while data is transmitted in real time via integrated modem or Wi-Fi. Competing RCUs test fewer networks using flimsy commercial handsets that entail frequent recharging and less stability. These offerings also cease testing during data transmission and therefore cannot be monitored in real time.
